Gome Founder Huang Says He Respects Court Ruling in Letter to Newspapers

Huang Guangyu, the founder of Gome Electrical Appliances Holdings Ltd., said he respects a court ruling upholding his prison sentence and would like to apologize to people who care about him, according to a letter written by Huang published in the China Business News newspaper today.

Huang said that he will try to return to society and better take on the social responsibilities of an “entrepreneur”, Huang wrote. Huang also wrote that he believes he will have a new start, according to the letter.
