China to Auction 240,000 Tons of Stockpiled Sugar on Sept. 9, Center Says

China will auction off 240,000 metric tons of sugar from stockpiles on Sept. 9, the China Merchandise Reserve Management Center said in a statement on its website today. The minimum bids for the sugar will be 4,000 yuan a ton, it said.
