British Airways-Iberia's IAG May Seek Indian Investment, Telegraph Reports
British Airways Plc Chief Executive Officer Willie Walsh indicated that International Airlines Group, the company to be formed by the merger of the U.K. airline with Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA, is considering investing in an Indian partner, the Telegraph said.
“The ambition of IAG is to pursue further opportunities for consolidation,” Walsh told reporters in Mumbai, the newspaper reported. Walsh was in India to announce a code-share agreement with Kingfisher Airlines Ltd., the Telegraph said.
