Woods Trails Snedeker by Seven Shots in Deutsche Bank Golf Second Round
Tiger Woods trails leader Brandt Snedeker by seven shots during the second round of the U.S. PGA Tour’s Deutsche Bank Championship.
Woods shot 6-under-par 65 today at the TPC of Boston in Norton, Massachusetts, and is 5-under for the tournament. Snedeker shot 64 to reach 12-under and is two strokes ahead of Luke Donald, who had a 67 today.
Woods must finish among the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings to advance to next week’s BMW Championship outside Chicago. The top 30 players then move on to the season-ending Tour Championship in Atlanta on Sept. 23-26.
The FedEx Cup winner receives a $10 million bonus. Woods has won the title two of the past three years.
