Lagarde Says Germany, France on `Same Page' on Financial Transactions Tax

Germany and France are “on the same page” on proposals for a tax on financial transactions, French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde said in an interview.

“Certainly France and Germany are on the same page to really support this international financial transaction taxation,” Lagarde said in an interview with Bloomberg Television today in Cernobbio, Italy.
