Tanzania's Benchmark Coffee Grade Price Climbs by 5.6% at Weekly Auction
Tanzania’s benchmark coffee grade rose 5.6 percent at an auction yesterday after supplies fell amid improved global prices, the Tanzania Coffee Board said.
Arabica AA sold for an average of $233.11 for a 50-kilogram (110-pound) bag, compared with $220.72 a week earlier, the agency said today in an e-mail from Moshi in northern Tanzania. Supplies of the grade fell 2.5 percent to 4,674 bags, it said.
