Swiss Franc Strengthens 0.5 Percent Versus Dollar to Trade Close to Parity

The Swiss franc strengthened 0.5 percent to 1.011 per dollar as of 7:37 a.m. in London.

Switzerland’s currency appreciated 0.4 percent to 1.2958 per euro. The franc was last at parity with the dollar in December 2009. It climbed to a record 1.2852 per euro on Aug. 31.
