South African Auto-Parts Wage Strike May Shut Toyota, Mercedes, BMW Plants

A strike by workers at South African autoparts companies may force the closure of plants owned by Toyota Motor Corp., Bayerische Motoren Werke and Mercedes-Benz AG, Jeff Osbourne, the chief executive officer of the Retail Motor Industry Organisation, said in an interview from Johannesburg today.
