Eurus Energy Holdings Corp., a unit of Tokyo Electric Power Co., plans to build a 140 million euro ($178 million) wind farm in Norway.
The company will hold a 66 percent stake in the 59.8 megawatt wind farm in Stavanger, southwestern Norway, which will be completed and be operational by autumn next year, company spokeswoman Mitsue Usami said by phone today.
The Norwegian government will subsidize a third of the cost, she said. The company is looking at other sites in Norway for wind farms, Usami said.
