New China Nuclear Power Rules May Be Submitted This Year, Securities Says

New rules for China’s nuclear power industry are likely to be submitted to the State Council by the end of this year, the China Securities Journal reported today, citing an unidentified official at the National Energy Administration.

The new rules won’t lower the minimum mandated controlling ownership by the state-owned China National Nuclear Corp., China Power Investment Corp. and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Corp. in nuclear power projects, the report said.
