JPMorgan Chase Hires Deutsche Bank's Ravi Sachdev for Health-Care Banking
JPMorgan Chase & Co. hired Deutsche Bank AG’s Ravi Sachdev, an adviser to health-care services companies including Medco Health Solutions Inc.
Sachdev will join New York-based JPMorgan’s health-care investment-banking group in November, according to an internal memorandum obtained by Bloomberg News and confirmed by JPMorgan spokeswoman Tasha Pelio.
Sachdev advised Medco on its $730 million agreement to buy United BioSource Corp., and IMS Health Inc. on its $5.2 billion leveraged buyout earlier this year. Before joining Frankfurt- based Deutsche Bank’s New York office in 2006, he worked at Peter J. Solomon Co., the boutique advisory firm.
Sachdev is a director of Steven Madden Ltd., the women’s shoemaker.
