Gambia Central Bank Says it Increases Rediscount Rate by One Point to 15%

The Central Bank of the Gambia has increased its rediscount rate by 1 percentage point to 15 percent, it said in a statement.

The country’s economy is expected to grow by 5 percent in 2010, from 5.6 percent a year earlier, the Banjul-based bank said today.
