NFL's Jets Are Selling 2,000 Upper-Deck Seats at New Meadowlands Stadium

The New York Jets are selling about 2,000 upper-deck tickets online for home games at their new $1.6 billion stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The seats are available to season-ticket holders at ticketmaster.com starting at 10 a.m. for $95 to $125 and to the general public after 4 p.m. from $105 to $135, according to Matt Higgins, the National Football League team’s executive vice president of business operations.

Higgins said tickets became available after fans moved from the upper-deck seats, which don’t require a one-time license fee, to some recently discounted lower-deck seats.

The stadium is about 96 percent sold out, Higgins said, with some club seats likely to remain available into the season. The team’s season opener Sept. 13 will be sold out and broadcast on television, he said.
