New China Stock Trading Account Openings Rise 1.5% in Week Ended Aug. 27

Investors opened 1.5 percent more accounts to trade Chinese stocks during the week ended Aug. 27, as compared with a week earlier, according to the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corp.

Investors oepned 266,805 accounts during the week, the clearing house said on its website today.
