WPG Says Green Energy-Related Revenue May Exceed NT$1 Billion Next Year

WPG Holdings Co., a distributor of electronic components, said revenue for green energy-related products may exceed NT$10 billion next year after it won the right to sell Green Energy Technology Inc.’s solar wafers in China.

“We have started selling Green Energy’s solar wafers from this month and the response has been good,” WPG’s chief finance officer Cliff Yuan said by telephone today.

The Economic Daily News reported today the company has won distributorship of Green Energy’s silicon wafers, without saying where it got the information from.
