Bank Sohar to Sell $130 Million of Subordinated Debt in Private Placement

Bank Sohar, an Omani lender, received approval from the central bank to sell subordinated loans of as much as 50 million rials ($130 million) through a private placement.

The bank has started the issuance process of the debt with a maturity of seven years, Bank Sohar said in a statement to the Muscat bourse today.
