French Industrial Investment Is Poised to Rise 5% This Year, Estrosi Says

French industrial investment is expected to rise by 5 percent in 2010, Industry Minister Christian Estrosi said in a statement sent by e-mail today.

The increase follows a 21 percent drop in 2009 attributed to the economic crisis, Estrosi said.

The rise is “a trend reversal which confirms the rebound that has stood out clearly for a year in the industrial sector,” the industry minister added, according to the statement.
