China Guangdong Nuclear Starts Building 49.5-Megawatt Hebei Wind Farm
Aug. 27 (Bloomberg New Energy Finance) -- China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Co., the nation’s second-biggest builder of atomic plants, said it has started construction of a 49.5- megawatt wind farm in Shangyi, Hebei province.
The wind farm, built by its unit China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Power Co., will be commissioned by October 2011, the company said in a statement on its website today. The cost of the project wasn’t disclosed.
China Guangdong Nuclear said on Aug. 24 it commissioned a 240-megawatt wind power project in Daan, Jilin province.
