Sony Is Developing a 3-D Television That Needs No Special Viewing Glasses

Sony Corp. is developing a 3-D television that needs no glasses, though no date has been set for the start of sales, said Yoshihisa Ishida, president of the company’s home-entertainment business group. Ishida was speaking at a briefing today in Tokyo.
