Romania on `Right Path' for Growth Amid Plans for Bond Sale, Minister Says

Romanian Finance Minister Sebastian Vladescu said he is confident that measures such as public-wage and spending cuts implemented by the government will spur the Balkan nation’s economy.
Speaking in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s “On The Move with Francine Lacqua” at the ministry’s headquarters in Bucharest, he said Romania is “on the right path” and that he expects an upcoming Eurobond issue to be successful.
The maturity on the bond will be at least 5 years, he said.
