East Japan Railway, Tokyu to Build Yokohama Office Tower, Nikkei Says

East Japan Railway Co. and Tokyu Corp. plan to build a 200-meter, 30-story office tower at Yokohama Station, the Nikkei newspaper reported. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2019, with total floor space of more than 130,000 square meters, according to the report, which said an announcement would be made later today. The project will be the first step in the city’s redevelopment plan for the area around the station, the newspaper said.
