Synagogue Bomb Plot Defendant Was Unknown to FBI Before He Met Informant

The FBI had never heard of James Cromitie before he approached an undercover informant at a Newburgh, New York, mosque in June 2008, an agent testified today at the trial of Cromitie and three other men accused of planning to blow up synagogues and shoot down military planes.
