Jim Rogers in Talks With Hengtai Datong Gold Investment, China Daily Says

Investor Jim Rogers is in talks with Hengtai Datong Gold Investment Ltd. on buying a stake in the closely held Beijing-based company or developing gold mines with it, China Daily reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Wang Zhibin.

Rogers did not confirm the negotiations in a telephone interview with the newspaper. Rogers told the newspaper he met with the company’s highest-level managers a few weeks ago, according to the report.
