Auckland International Airport Ltd., New Zealand’s largest, said its purchase of a 25 percent stake in the airfield at the resort town of Queenstown is being challenged in the courts.
Air New Zealand Ltd. and a Queenstown businessman are seeking a High Court review of the acquisition, which was achieved by the local council agreeing to a placement of shares, the airport company said in a statement. The company will strongly defend the proceedings, it said.
