U.S. Passenger Airline Employment for June: Summary

U.S. passenger airline employment fell in June compared to the previous year, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
U.S. airline employment fell 2.4 percent compared to last June. Earlier this month, the bureau of Labor Statistics reported that aircraft manufacturing jobs fell to 226,500 in June from 233,800 a year earlier. Total airline related employment, airline carriers and manufacturing, rose by 1,100 to 604,800.
