Public Support for Cameron's Coalition Government Falters, Daily Mail Says

U.K. public support for Prime Minister David Cameron’s coalition government is faltering, with 57 percent of people describing it as disappointing, the Daily Mail reported, citing a Harris Interactive poll of 1,057 people.

Tory party support dropped to 29 percent from 36 percent at the election, while support for the Liberal Democrats fell to 12 percent from 23 percent, the newspaper said.

About 23 percent of people think the country is better off with a coalition government, while 31 percent think single-party rule would be preferable, the Daily Mail reported.
