Impala Platinum Says Talks With Labor Union Over Wage Increase Break Down

Impala Platinum Ltd., the world’s second-biggest producer of the metal, said wage talks with labor union officials have broken down.

“The unions are going back to their members and we’ll take it from there,” Bob Gilmour, Impala’s spokesman, said in an interview today from Johannesburg.
