Finning International Inc. (FTT CT): The Caterpillar dealer with operations in Canada posted second-quarter profit of 21 Canadian cents a share excluding some items, beating the average analyst estimate of 18 cents according to Bloomberg data.
Globestar Mining Corp. (GMI CT): The gold mining company reported a second-quarter profit of 5 Canadian cents a share excluding some items, trailing the average analyst estimate of 8 cents in a Bloomberg survey.
Insignia Energy Ltd. (ISN CT): The oil and natural-gas explorer posted a second-quarter loss of 15 Canadian cents a share excluding some items, compared with a loss of 9 cents, the average analyst estimate in a Bloomberg survey.
