Koenig & Bauer Favors Merger With Manroland, CEO Hansen Tells Handeslblatt

Koenig & Bauer AG is in favor of a merger with domestic competitor Manroland AG as global production of printing-presses is too high, Handelsblatt reported today, citing an interview with Chief Executive Officer Helge Hansen.

The company is opposed to a merger with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG as the competitor’s debt is too high, Hansen told the newspaper.
