Egypt's Agriculture Ministry Relaxes Wheat Import Rules, Al Ahram Reports

Egypt’s Agriculture Ministry scrapped a rule requiring cargoes of imported wheat to be from the harvest of the source country’s most recent agricultural season, Al Ahram reported today, citing a ministry statement.

The change will apply for the next two months only until the current wheat crisis ends, the newspaper said.
