Sunderland Signs Midfielder Kieran Richardson to Three-Year Contract

Sunderland midfielder Kieran Richardson signed a new three-year contract until 2013, the Premier League club said on its website.

Richardson, 25, has scored eight goals in 85 games since joining the Black Cats from Manchester United in 2007. He’s also played at West Ham and West Bromwich Albion.
