Former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is recovering well after an operation to remove his gallbladder, the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported.
Rudd, 52, was taken to the Mater Private Hospital in Brisbane with acute abdominal pain two days ago, according to his office. He is likely to return home in a couple of days after the operation late yesterday, the broadscaster reported, citing Rudd’s doctors.
