Pakistan Death Toll From Flash Floods in Northwest Rises to 526, Edhi Says

Flash floods left 526 people dead and thousands displaced after heavy rains in northwestern Pakistan, according to the Edhi rescue service.

Peshawar, Charsadda, Kohat, Bannu and the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan all are affected, Mujahid Khan, a spokesman for Edhi, said by telephone from Peshawar today.
