Metro to Move 400 German Jobs to East Europe, India to Cut Costs, L-Z Says
Metro AG, Germany’s largest retailer, plans to outsource at least 400 information-technology and accounting jobs to eastern Europe and India to reduce costs, Lebensmittelzeitung reported, citing unidentified people close to the company.
Ernst & Young is advising on the measure, the weekly newspaper said.
