England bowled Pakistan out for 182 in its first innings to lead by 172 runs on day three of their first cricket Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
Pakistan resumed this morning on 147-9 after bad light stopped play yesterday. Umar Gul, starting 30 not out, then reached 65 before Mohammad Asif was run out by Eoin Morgan for the final wicket.
James Anderson finished 5-54 for England and Steve Finn was 3-50. England, which won the coin toss, reached 354 in its innings.
