Investec Falls in Johannesburg After Saying Impairments Remain `Elevated'

Investec Ltd., the private bank and wealth manager, declined in Johannesburg trading after saying impairments remained at “elevated levels” in the three months through June.

The stock slipped as much as 1.39 rand, or 2.3 percent, to 59.61 rand, and was trading at 59.92 rand as of 9:28 a.m. local time.
