Former Australian Prime Minister Rudd to Have Gallbladder Removed Today
Former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has been admitted to hospital to have his gallbladder removed, a statement from his office said.
Rudd was taken to hospital with acute abdominal pain yesterday and underwent a series of medical tests, the statement said. The former prime minister is expected to remain in hospital for the next few days, it said.
