Australian Opposition Coalition Overtakes Gillard in Herald-Nielsen Poll

Australia’s Liberal-National coalition took the lead over Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s Labor Party, the Sydney Morning Herald said, citing a Herald/Nielsen poll.

On a two-party preferred basis, the coalition now leads Labor by 52 percent to 48 percent, the paper said.
