Mediaset's First-Half Net Income Advances, Beating Estimates by Analysts

Mediaset SpA, the television company of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, said first-half profit rose to 241.6 million euros from 181 million euros a year earlier, the company said in a stock-exchange statement today.

Analysts had estimated net income of 229 million euros, according to the average estimate of seven analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
