Express Kenya Says Its First-Half Profit Increased by 22% After Investment
Express Kenya Ltd., a transport company, said first-half profit jumped 22 percent after the company invested in new projects.
Net income rose to 30.9 million shillings ($383,348) in the six months through June from 25.3 million shillings a year earlier, the company said in a statement published in the Nairobi-based Daily Nation newspaper today. Revenue fell 22 percent to 425.2 million shillings, it said.
“The directors are confident that the business strategies put in place will maintain the consistency of growth in profits,” Express Kenya said.
