PGA Championship Golf to Be Televised Partially in 3-D by Turner Sports

Time Warner Inc.’s Turner Sports said it will offer the first two days of this year’s PGA Championship in 3-D.

The 92nd PGA Championship will take place Aug. 12-15 at Whistling Straits Golf Club in Kohler, Wisconsin. 3-D coverage will be offered on TNT during the first two rounds, from 3 p.m.- 7 p.m. New York time, and will feature the 12th and 17th holes, both par 3s.

In April, CBS Corp.’s CBS and Disney Co.’s ESPN aired portions of the Masters Tournament in 3-D.
