Oman Electricity Holding Gets Regulator Approval to Fully Own Dhofar Power

Electricity Holding Co., which runs Oman’s electricity assets, obtained approval from the market regulator to fully acquire Dhofar Power Co.

Electricity Holding will offer 2 rials a share to acquire 30.58 percent of Dhofar Power from Aug. 1 to Sept. 20, Dhofar Power said in a statement to the Muscat bourse today. Electricity Holding already owns 69.42 percent of Dhofar Power, it said.
