Vale Considering Mining Phospates in Mozambique, Diario de Mocambique Says

Vale SA is considering mining phosphate deposits in the northern Mozambican province of Nampula, Diario de Mocambique reported, citing National Director of Mines Eduardo Alexandre.

The Brazilian company has conducted surveys of the deposits and could start mining as soon as 2014, the Beira, Mozambique- based newspaper said, citing Alexandre.
