Casio Shares Rise After Media Report of First Quarterly Profit Since 2008

Casio Computer Co. gained in Tokyo trading after the Nikkei newspaper said the watch and electronic dictionary maker may report its first quarterly profit since the July-September quarter of 2008. The shares rose 5.8 percent to 585 yen on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the biggest gain since Aug. 28, 2009.
