BP, Capita Group, IG Group Holdings, Ryanair: U.K., Irish Equity Preview
The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in U.K. and Irish markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last market close.
The benchmark FTSE 100 Index fell 10.57, or 0.2 percent, to 5,148.28. The FTSE All-Share Index declined 0.2 percent and Ireland’s ISEQ Index fell 1.2 percent.
BP Plc (BP/ LN): Talks between BP and Apache Corp. on BP selling half of its stake in Alaska’s Prudhoe Bay oil field have resumed after stalling over the weekend, a person familiar with the matter said. The shares declined 4.7 percent to 387.85 pence.
Capita Group Plc (CPI LN): Capita Symonds, a unit of U.K. consultant firm Capita Group, plans to develop a 150 million- pound ($228 million) tidal technology test site in Wales. The stock fell 1.1 percent to 740.5 pence.
IG Group Holdings Plc (IGG LN): The owner of the IG Index financial spread-betting brand is due to report full-year earnings. The shares advanced 0.7 percent to 466.6 pence.
Ryanair Holdings Plc (RYA ID): The airline is scheduled to report first-quarter earnings. The stock fell 1.1 percent to 3.78 euros.
