Zhongshan Public Says Former Chairman, Former General Manager Are Arrested
Zhongshan Public Utilities Group Co. said its former chairman Tan Qingzhong and former general manager Zheng Xuling were arrested on accusations of unauthorized release of information, according to a statement to Shenzhen’s stock exchange.
Former general manager Zheng has also been accused of insider trading, according to the statement.
The company had earlier announced the resignation of Tan and Zheng on July 7.
