BASF, Siemens Chiefs Complain About Chinese Rules to Wen Jiabao, FT Says

BASF SE’s Juergen Hambrecht and Siemens AG’s Peter Loescher complained about Chinese restrictions and business climate during a meeting with Premier Wen Jiabao, the Financial Times reported, citing the chief executive officers.

Hambrecht complained that foreign companies were being forced to give away business and technology to Chinese companies in exchange for market access.

Loescher called for China to quickly remove trade and investment restrictions in the automotive, financial services and other industries.
