French Stocks: Air France, Stallergenes, Ubisoft Entertainment Are Active

France’s CAC 40 Index added 6.61, or 0.2 percent, to 3,588.43 as of 10:00 a.m. in Paris, taking this week’s gain to 1 percent. The SBF 120 Index increased 0.2 percent to 2,661.81.

The following stocks rose or fell in the French market. Symbols are in parentheses after company names.

Air France-KLM (AF FP), Europe’s biggest airline, climbed 10 cents, or 1 percent, to 10.38 euros. The stock was raised to “buy” from “hold” at Societe Generale SA.

Stallergenes SA (GENP FP) jumped 2.95 euros, or 5.4 percent, to 57.95 euros, headed for its largest advance since May. The pharmaceuticals company increased its profit forecast.

Ubisoft Entertainment SA (UBI FP) declined 14.2 cents, or 2 percent, to 6.83 euros, a third loss. Electronic Arts Inc. sold a 14.8 percent stake in Europe’s biggest video-game producer in the market, according to the terms of the offer obtained by Bloomberg News. The sale was priced at 6.75 euros per share, said a person close to the deal who asked to remain unidentified.

Separately, U.S. sales of video games fell 6 percent in June to $1.1 billion, research firm NPD Group said yesterday.
