Saudi Arabia's National Commercial Bank First-Half Profit Rises on Lending

National Commercial Bank, Saudi Arabia’s biggest bank by assets, said first-half profit increased 18 percent to 2.6 billion riyals ($693 million) from a year earlier.

Lending in the period grew 10.5 percent from a year ago, the bank said in a statement to the Saudi bourse today.
