Russia's NGI Fund Buys Stake in Software Maker Mandriva, Kommersant Says

Russia-backed fund NGI acquired a stake in Mandriva, the French maker of software based on the Linux open-source operating system, as part of a program develop a Russian operational system, Kommersant reported.

Russia’s ex-Telecom Minister Leonid Reiman supervised the transaction, the Moscow-based newspaper said, citing people close to the fund.
